Paris

For my recent module I chose to look at Paris architecture.Although I have never been to Paris I was really interested in all of the beautiful buildings. For my primary research I used images my sister sent me from when she visited in July 2014. These are some of the images my sister sent me.

Cushions

I have recently just finished the first half of my last studio module at level 4. The first half of the module I had to create two corresponding cushions. My theme was Paris and I chose to look into the architecture. I wanted to keep my color scheme quite simple as I think it would represent Paris. I chose purple grey and white to be my main colors. I tested with a lot of different fabrics and colors first so I had a good idea of what the finished product would look like. When making my cushion up I decided I would add piping around the edge as I thought that it would make it look more interesting and would make the edging more professional. I am very pleased with the outcome as it clearly represents Paris. I also think that I have made it to a very high standard. Here is an image I took of my final cushion.
